Why are we addicted to reality tv?

I wish I knew why it is so easy to become addicted to reality TV. Being addicted to reality TV is one thing, but we all have to face the real reality of keeping up with our homes. And when I mean keeping up with our homes — I mean cleaning. Soon the dreaded mowing of the lawn will be another task to worry about. Personally, mowing the lawn or doing anything with the lawn is not a fun experience. I would rather hang out with friends, watch reality TV, do anything else. Most can agree to that.

It’s that time of the year when it seems like everything is piling up. Whether it’s your work, school, children, family, etc. There is so much to do and not enough time. As much stress as it is coming into the summer I am so thankful for all that Teed & Brown Lawn Care did last summer for me.

Addicted to Reality — Mitt Romney Drops Out

Republican Mitt Romney announced today his end to the campaign. In the beginning of this journey of the fight for Republican Candidate, Romney had a chance — but the tables quickly turned as MCCAIN took the lead and starting knocking competition out of the way. Also, quiet Huckabee gained much support on Super Tuesday, which led to Romney’s decision on “dropping out.”

The New York Times said, “In Thursday’s speech, Mr. Romney emphasized his agreement with Mr. McCain’s position that the United States needed to continue to pursue the war in Iraq. Arguing that the war is a critical part of the country’s battle against terrorism, Mr. Romney said the Democratic candidates “would retreat, declare defeat, and the consequences of that would be devastating.”

Looks like Romney may try to get together with MCCAIN? — I doubt it though, from what i’ve seen it appears that MCCAIN strongly dislikes him. We will see…

The Moment of Truth Questions that would have been asked

Filed under: The Moment of Truth — aey112 @ 12:11 pm

The Moment of Truth that aired last night on FOX ended with Brandon lying on his 11th question. Take a few minutes and check out the video below.

Online at Fox, there is a list of the questions that Brandon would have been asked if he had not been found lying:
Additional Quesitons: Do you want to become a cop to please your father? & Do you believe you are ever going to propose to Marissa?I agree with the comments that were left about “The Moment of Truth Questions.” I felt bad for Brandon’s mother when some of the questions were being asked. For instance she looked extremely disappointed when she found out that he drove intoxicated and when he jokes about the ethnicity of his girlfriend’s family. Next week should be just as interesting.

Britney Spears has lost it

Britney Spears was recently admitted to a hospital for a mental evaluation. Personally, I want to think Britney Spears is an idiot for how she is acting, but I can’t help but feel bad. I know when I hear people “gossiping” it get’s frustrating and annoying and I can’t imagine having millions and millions of people gossiping about you. For instance, I have a blog about being addicted to reality tv and I discuss celebrity news. I add to the “gossiping,” but I’m not standing outside celebrity homes taking pictures and interfering with their lives.

The worst part of all the news regarding Britney Spears is the trouble ahead that her children will face. Not only will it be hard finding out that their mother wasn’t always there for them due to partying, marital problems, etc., but she was considered a “nut” case. I would never have thought that the “Teen Idol” would end up like this. Britney Spears had everything going for her; friend, family, fans, money, and respect.

Whether or not I’m wrong for feeling some sympathy towards Britney Spears I do feel no one deserves having rumors spread about them. I’m not going to lie, I had all her CDs and still listen to her music. And I know that some people say that she is a complete loser and I won’t disagree with them, but I can’t imagine being in her shoes and I’m sure some feel the same way.
