One of the craziest reality ideas I have heard in a while is about a show on who’s dog is the best.  From what I gather from the previews all of the dogs and the owners are in a house together and do various activities till there is only one dog and owner left.   Apparently there will be romances on the way, which is really weird on a dog show.  I can’t imagine how damaged the house will get with having so many dogs running around.  They are going to need some major Connecticut landscaping when they get through with the show.

Yesterday while driving to work I heard on the radio that Lance Bass has a new romance.  And if you have been sitting under a rock and don’t know that he’s gay the story gets better.  Apparently the guy that he is in love with is a trainer that is legally still married.  BUT the woman that he is married to doesn’t want to be with him anymore.  She wants to go and be with her lesbian partner.

Is it possible for this story to get better?….Well it does

Supposedly Lance’s new man isn’t a U.S. citizen and the only reason he got married was so he could stay in the United States.  What will Lance do?

I was on youtube the other day watching various clips about fixing up homes, landscaping, etc. Then I stumbled upon a clip from the Mar Jennings Show that I found to be quite informative, yet interesting. He had a guest, Chris Brown a lawn care expert from places such as, Greenwich lawn care, Wilton lawn care, and Stamford lawn care. Check out the short 4 minute clip…. “You’ll learn a lot.”

I always have wondered and still wonder who comes up with the ideas for reality TV shows? Honestly, can’t a reality TV show be on just about anything? People? Cars? Homes? What about Connecticut Lawn Services? Even the craziest of ideas can become a hit.

This post is purely just what’s on my mind and if you’re interested enjoy! The past few weeks have been extremely hot and muggy. The weather has caused everything to dry out. It hasn’t just made people uncomfortable when working or lounging outside, but my grass is yellow! I suppose it’s my fault for letting it get to this, but I bought a sprinkler and frequently run it to see if that would help, but it really has had no effect. Friends had pointed me in the direction to Connecticut Landscaping.

From personal experience and word of mouth my friends and family have suggested places such as, Ridgefield lawn care, Newton lawn care, & Monroe lawn care. In the past I had mentioned that I had a friend who had “raved” about Newton lawn care and their services that they provide and am greatly considering their help. Especially if the summer is to be as hot as it has been so far.

I am currently finishing the book, The Last Lecture, which was written by Randy Pausch with Jeffrey Zaslow. This book is amazing! If you are the “elephant in the room” and have never heard of Randy Pausch, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer (pancreatic cancer) and is currently fighting for his life.

You will go through life a different person after reading the national bestseller written by Randy Pausch. I cannot stress how important this book is to the way you look at life.

If you are looking for a hero…here is your man…

I have watched Living Lohan and I’m just curious does that keep anyones attention?  Sometimes it’s interesting, but it just doesn’t keep my attention.  Lindsay’s sister seems like a want to be know it all just because she has a famous sister.  I think that’s crap.  Just because your sister made it doesn’t mean you can ride her coattails.

I’m not sure how you in particular feel about Nick Hogan and his apparent reality TV show that he will have when he finishes his 8 months of prison. I find that last part of the sentence so funny. In the “real world” someone who didn’t have any celebrity status who served prison time would never get the opportunity to appear on reality TV or anything at all. Is that fair?

I don’t think it’s fair at all. Just solely speaking about Nick Hogan…he had everything going for him. His dad, a famous wrestler, hero to so many, a sister and mom who supported him with a very well backed financial status. Why would he screw all that up by driving at an excessive speed. Now, I can admit to going over the speed limit. I’m sure everyone can. In fact earlier this year I got a ticket for going an X amount over. It happens to the best of us, but not at the speed Nick Hogan crashed his car.

And is it only me or does 8 months in jail not seem equivalent to what his friend got? His friend is going to be under medical attention the rest of his life. In fact, he won’t ever lead a normal life again. And Nick only got 8 months? Celebrities seem to work the system as best they can — all because money buys everything. It doesn’t matter to me when people say, “Money can’t buy happiness.” But really when you think about it - it can and it can’t.  It all depends on how you think about it.

Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, makes her life complicated. On Sunday the episode that I watched was her preparing for her trip to Hawaii with her girlfriends. She was complaining about how much weight she had gained because of her father’s home cooking. And her dad was complaining about how many dogs he would have to watch while she was away. He flat out told her that he was boarding some of her pets while she was away.

Denise told her girlfriends that she wanted to lose 10 lbs before Hawaii, which was days away. A company sent her and her friends free bikinis for them to wear while they were away. And she felt fat? Personally I thought she looked fine the way she was. Denise and her friends went and worked out all week long and by the end of the week she only lost a pound. She came to the conclusion that she would eat what she wanted and didn’t care what the paparazzi would say about her in her bathing suit.

A day before she was to leave for Hawaii someone buzzed at the gate…it was the pet taxi. The pet taxi was there to pick up her dogs. Denise stood in front of the taxi full of her puppies and was pleading to her dad that the dogs will have heart attacks due to the stress of being boarded and that her assistant would help watch the dogs.

Her dad caved and said that the dogs could stay.  Before he decided Denise kept saying that one of the dogs that was in a cage to go to the kennel was “mom’s dog and that she would have a heart attack.”  I know if someone used that on me I would probably cave too.

The preview for next week looked pretty good.  Apparently the women go topless sun bathing at a beach that was supposedly deserted?? lol and a photographer took a picture of Denise.

This Sunday’s show should be exciting…

The reality TV show Brooke Knows Best premiered on Sunday and it looks like it’s going to be an excellent season.  Brooke finally purchased (well is renting) her first home away from home.  It is located in Miami, on the top floor, 3 bedrooms, hot tub, marble counter tops, and all the other perks to a Miami bachelorette pad.

She has a roommate and is seeking another.  Her one roommate is a guy who claims to be gay, but has been with women in the past.  Hulk trusts this guy to protect Brooke because he knows and thinks he is gay.

So what all went on during the first episode of Brooke Knows Best?

The show started off with Brooke and Hulk entering her new Miami apartment.  They frequently mentioned Linda and Nick throughout the show.  This show obviously was right after the accident because it seemed that Nick hadn’t been put in jail yet.  Hulk or Brooke said something like, he is coping and praying for him (don’t quote me on that).

Hulk seemed taken back when he saw the hot tub.  He was concerned with germs, boys, and perverts with telescopes…lol Terry (Hulk) helped Brooke unpack some of her moving boxes, where he pulled out large (stripperish) boots.  Then he brought a box of his own with pictures of himself that he could put all over her room.

Brooke talked about her feelings and views on her parents divorce and said that obviously they weren’t meant to be together forever, but it was hard for her to pick a side - her mom or her dad.  I honestly think that she chose her dad over her mom because of her dad’s celebrity status.  More people will watch the show because Hulk is on it versus Linda.  At least Hulk has another demographic to add to the show.

All three of them, Terry, Brooke, and her roommate took a trip to Target and spent a bunch of money.  Well Terry bought it all as a house warming gift to Brooke.

At the end of the episode Hulk put dead bolts on Brooke’s front doors and then got ready to leave.  You could tell it was a very emotional moment.  As soon as he drove off Brooke and her roommate went straight to the beach to check out hot boys!

Next episode previewed Brooke interviewing potential roommates for her extra room.  AND did anyone see that sometime on a future episode Linda is going to take Brooke for a tattoo??!! I wonder what Hulk will think about that?  It’s a tattoo of a music note behind her ear…that must have hurt so bad.
