When growing up everyone heard, “Too much TV isn’t good for.” Now I’m not questioning that statement, but I’m curious to who made that up? True too much TV probably isn’t good for you, but some TV can’t be all that bad, depending on what you are viewing I suppose. Reality TV as a whole has gone through many phases along it’s growth. I feel that some shows have gotten a “bit” ridiculous. For instance, having shows where they fight there fears, a dating show based on looks alone, deceiving people money…etc.
Watching real people fight their fears, the jealousy of others winning cash, meeting their perfect match are what people want to see even though people get hurt along the way and make fools of themselves. As long as those people making fools out of themselves aren’t us then we don’t care.
Matthew McConaughey is a DAD! If anyone knows what it was let me know…
Sometimes I think that my life has enough drama and excitement in it for my own reality show. I’m sure some of you out may feel the same way.
I was watching a preview the other night for the new Brooke Hogan Knows Best reality TV show on VH1. They showed that Brooke will be buying her first home. Will it be a bachelorette pad or a place for her to get her feet wet in the real world? We will soon find out…
Weeks back I had either seen on a gossip channel or read in a magazine about how Brooke and her mom aren’t getting along? Something along the lines the Brooke is teaming up with Hulk to find out what Linda is up to. Linda has been in the news lately about her so-called love life??? if there is one.
Anyone heard anything about Nick Hogan?
Overall the summer so far has been terrible. The weather has been either extreme heat or rain…it’s like we can’t win. The sudden flip-flop of weather since we made the transition from Spring to Summer hasn’t been what we call smooth. I was taking my puppy for a walk the other day and as he galloped through the grass I took notice to the rustling noise of the dryness. The area where I was walking him through was a bike path near my home.
Now, if you’ve read any of my posts before regarding the care that I took to my yard I love to entertain friends and find that the outer appearance must be “top-notch.” I’m definitely particular about the neatness and organization of my life. Connecticut lawn services did a fantastic job with treating my brown lawn, but I think I’ll be suggesting the town that holds the bike path in about Redding lawn care, Darien lawn care, or some kind of Connecticut landscaping.
Wish me luck…
The other night I was on aol instant messenger bored, next thing you know I started talking to Derek Mccray from the Gauntlet. At first I was a bit skeptical, but then I went onto the “I am on MTV” and saw that it really was him.
He seemed like a really nice guy, I am a bit curious to see how many other girls he talks to including myself.
The other day I caught the end of VH1’s I Love Money, personally it looks like a lot of drama. Everyone that was worth remembering from past VH1 shows are back in the spotlight. “Stars” like 12-Pack, Mr. Boston, girls from the Rock of Love, etc.
While I watched the last 15 minutes of the show I wondered to myself who in the right mind cleans up after those people. They trash the house completely with their activities and drama. It must take a lot for reality TV producers and related staff to set up everything it takes to bring a show to air.
This season Tila Tequila wasn’t the only one turning someone down. After she turned down Bo she was denied by Kristy. Kristy claims that it wasn’t just a key that she would be accepting it would have been Tila’s heart, which she wasn’t ready for. A completely shocked Tila questioned Kristy’s decision by saying something along the lines of, well why did you string me along this whole entire time and wait until I had to decide between her and Bo.
Kristy told Tila to go back to Bo, but Tila’s heart was with Kristy. I will be honest I found this season not as entertaining as the original. Before Tila made her final decision last night - I knew without watching the entire season that she would most likely choose the female. My guess is she tried it last season by choosing Bobby and obviously that didn’t work out. So by process of elimination, Kristy would be the best shot.
I’m hoping that there isn’t another season of Tila Tequila next year. First off a show where she has to pick between men and women right there is ridiculous. I mean didn’t the first season teach her a lesson on the fact that she is still confused? An on-air show is not going to determine in stone which sex she wants to be with.
Tila Tequila’s reality TV show is proof that the reality TV industry has gone way too far.
