2009 Layoffs is All Over the News
I was watching television a couple of days ago and of course layoffs are the big news. I had heard that one way for companies to save money would be to reduce the office space and have employees telecommute. By this employees would only need to come to the office on certain days. By hiring a remote desktop client (managed hosting) employees are capable of working from home and performing at 100% level.
It’s something to think about.
IBM recently confirmed that there will be hundreds of layoffs coming up in 2009. I find it terrible that people (families) may be starting the year off jobless and completely stressed. I wish everyone the best in these hard times.
