OMG, are you serious. i felt sooo bad.
OMG my friend grew up in a family of 9 kids with 3 bedrooms and they survived. I find this house to be over the top. My mom was the youngest of 13 and shared an apartment with all of the family.
With the economy being the was it is no one for any reason should have such a huge house that they probably won’t be able to afford once the show goes off the air.
I do enjoy the show but come on!!!!!!!!!!

OMG kate is so preppy now in the beginning of the show she was snobby at all and now the cameras are getting to her head.
Kate acts like a little BITCH i can’t believe she moved there she always says she wants to show her kids to be kind and help others and not ever let her kids be spoiled. I understand wanting i big house for i big family, but they overdid it this time. And i feel bad for Jon he is her husband not her child.

I really like kate she makes me laugh and she means no harm to Jon. She is just being a wife and he is being a husband. Come on wivies out there tell me you don’t have to get on your hubby sometimes. The show is great i can’t wait to see more of the new house. I love the way she always makes home meals and I love that she is so organized. I really hope that the divorce rumors are just that RUMORS.

I am one of 7 kids and I am not spoiled. I love the show and I know the feeling of being cramped in a house. I think this new house is great for them and they need it. The old one was way too small.

Maybe now that their fans see what kind of house John and Kate were able to purchase and people will stop donating to these two fools! They frequently go to churches and events and cry about how “poor” and how they are “struggling”.Then these churches take up a “love offering” for them. They even gave out their account number for their electric bill and asked their congregation to help them make the payment!! I hope the public begins to see them for who they are: CON artists.
would you want to be cramped in a tiny house with 9 other people? i sure wouldnt and if they can afford it then i say right on kate seems better since they moved into the new house and its great that the kids can run and that they have dogs now dont be so harsh on them just because they are on tv they are human just like everyone else have a great day

I live in the area, E-Town, and have reason to believe, through friends in the real estate business, that because of safety and security concerns at their old house TLC “helped” (through negotiation of a TV series renewal contract) in the purchase of their more secluded new home. One can only guess how they negotiated; Chip in or we walk?
I’m pretty sick of hearing about how much of a bitch Kate is and how they went over the top with this new house. Its a family of 10. Of course there are going to be stressful times, expectly with them all in a tiny house when they cant breath and catch a break from each other. I think Kate and John are excellent parents. I love how they get the kids out to do new things and let them see the world. Even with there one on one times with the kids.
I don’t think that the only reason there even doing the show is to get the money (even tho its a plus). When they had the 8 kids they were offered to do like a documentary show, but they had got so much good feedback and people wanting to see more, that’s why the show is still going. And about the new house, if they can afford it why not get your dream home???? I think all you people who are putting them down for it are ignorant and jealous.
Let them live there own lives. Leave them alone. Look what its doing to them.
Kate, if you treated your husband more like your husband than your child. Yelling at him in the Toys R Us store, talking to him like he’s beneath you. The money and freebies have gone to your head and at one point, I believe it was your job to “stay home with the kids”. Listening to you the other night, you’ve got a new job and it doesn’t involve the raising of your children. Jon did say that he didn’t want to be in front of the camera any longer but seems you didn’t care. You have lost sight of what “family” truly is and now your marriage is in jeopardy. If you had been a bit kinder to Jon, he wouldn’t have been “out of the house” and you might not be where you are today. I truly hope that the both of you can mend your marriage, not for the kids but for each other.
If you didn’t want the cameras in your face so much, you shouldn’t have agreed to do the television show to start with. Kate seems to like all the attention. Kate, you’re exploiting your children and that’s not a good thing for them. For the sake of your family, I hope the show doesn’t continue, you all need time to heal.

I live down the street from the gosselins. we live in a small town, and i travel the road they live on frequently. the size of the house is rediculous, and the pictures make it look SMALL. the paparrazi (sp?) sit on the street on a hill where it could really cause accidents. i drove past today and they were sitting with the trucks shut off ON THE STREET on top of a HILL. Redicoulous.

People keep telling me that John and Karen plus 8 is a tv reality show. Lest see, kate had a good job then quit. John had. a good job than quit. They have a new job entertaing the public with their soap opra life.
Whoever is still paying for this tv show you should cancel and demand some of you’re money back you paid to view reality tv. Not fantanacy land soap opra show. Parent who truely love their children and each other will not risk everyone they hold precious and dear for a buck. They are making a fortune on their new tv show. But when is enough really enough. Is money so important that it is worth getting a divorce over. Is it that important that you leave you’re kids behind while you go on a book tour. Every couple argues but there is such a thing a going overboard. I would not want my kids faces plastered everywhere, especially with the world riddled with phedophiles. I find it disturbing that a man washes the girls why can’t mommy wash the girls and the man wash the boys. Guess Kate does not want to crack a nail. That is johns job. What is the point of the mom, oh she cooks, my man believes in 50/50 equal in the house. There is no I in team. But their is an I in family. We need to leave this poor coulpe to leave the spotlight and live their life like a normal family. But that is something they will have to do on their own .
If it came to a choice money fame fortune along with all the misery and crap that goes with it / or crap this we want our family back to normal. What would you choose ?
Me I could not care I we were wealthy or did not have a dime in our pocket. I love my man and our beautiful children. God has truely blessed our family the proof is in our childrens eyes.
John and Kate if you truely feel you are blessed leave the spotlight and spend the remaining of you life caring loving and raising you’re children. Together the way god intended you both to do.
Please do not jude the gossling daughter in saying she is spoild and selfish, children do not get like that overnight. She had learned that from somewhere.
Kate please if you do get an outfit ruined . You can just have them wear it when they do something fun and messy. It is called reusing.
