The following takes place between the hours 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Chloe’s husband comes into the FBI building wanting to know where his wife is.  While this is happening Renee is getting released from being an FBI agent.  Larry Moss informs Janice that Ryan Burnett is dead and a release is sent out looking for Jack Bauer.  Jack calls Renee and tells her that he did not kill Ryan and that he has been framed.  She needs to I.D. a the actual killer.  Renee I.D’s the killer as John Quinn.

Larry Moss walks in on Agent Walker and tells her to go home and get some sleep.  He figures out that Renee talked to Bauer and tells Janice to figure out what Renee has been doing on her computer and who she has been talking to.

While Olivia and the President are talking Ethan walks in and informs her that Ryan Burnett was murdered…by Jack Bauer.  Larry Moss confronts Renee about the location of Jack Bauer, but she refuses.  Renee is willing to sacrifice everything to allow Jack to find John Quinn.  Larry puts Renee into holding for refusing to talk.

Senator Mayer walks into his house and notices that things have been moved.  Jack Bauer surprises him and questions him about John Quinn.  Senator Mayer says that he has no idea who John Quinn is.  Jack orders Senator Mayer for information regarding the company that John Quinn works for.

The President makes a speech about how the United States has won.  Olivia leaks to the press that Ethan authorized Bauer to talk to Ryan Burnett and that he caused his death.  Janice can’t crack the encryption with the address that Renee gave Bauer, so Larry Moss goes to speak with Morris O’brien.  Larry blackmails  Mr. O’brien by saying that Chloe will be released if he can crack a code for the FBI.  Larry tells Morris without his cooperation Chloe will go to jail.  Morris cracks the code of Senator Mayers address.

Larry gets a team of FBI agents and them ready for Mayer’s house.  Chloe is upset with her husband that he caved in and is helping the FBI find Jack.  While Senator Mayer and Jack are in his house Jack discovers the connection between Juma and Quinn.  Someone knocks on the Mayer’s door saying “Senator Mayor FBI” Senator Mayer convinces Jack that he can help with this and for him to trust.  Jack says “open the door.”  When Mayer opened the door it was John Quinn and he shoots and kills him.

Olivia is called into the President’s office regarding the leak to the press.  Olivia said that she has found the leak and gave Ethan the number to the person who can tell him the leak.  The President believes Olivia, and she apologizes for putting her on the spot.

Jack is on the run trying to get away from John Quinn.  John Quinn spots blood spots leading a trail to where he can find Jack.  John Quinn walks into an empty building and just starts shooting all while Jack flips the building over with a bulldozer.  Jack and John start to fight.  Jack stabs John Quinn and with his final breath he says that the weapons are already here.  Jack looks John Quinn’s phone and it says Port of Alexandria.

Larry is blaming Jack for the Mayer’s murder.  Jack calls Tony and tells him about the Port of Alexandria.  Tony tries to tell him something but Jack says he must hang up.

Next week on 24 (March 23, 2009)  Ethan puts in his resignation.  There is a bioweapon in the city.
