What’s Going on with Jon and Kate Plus 8?
Tonight was the season premier (5th season) for Jon and Kate Plus 8. The episode portrayed Kate as being the “single” mother preparing for a birthday party for the multiples. All while Jon “took the weekend off.” Both, Jon and Kate did separate interviews until the last 15 minutes of the episode. The show really didn’t answer any questions if whether or not they would continue to be a married couple. All that both said was if the end result would keep the children happy and healthy.

Hope they find peace, but, if this episode sets the stage for the season, then, the logo change is easy, change the E in Ei8gh to an F and you get Fi8ht.
I think Jon & Kate are a poor witness for christianity. As professing christians I would think their focus would be on their children and the survival of their family and not on their public image or the ratings of their show. I look back at the first season of the show and although Kate was bossy and at times rude I saw a family that loved one another. Now all I see are two adults who do not want to take responsability for their actions while the children seem to be forgotten. If they truly cared about their family they would quit the show, if only temporarily, forget about the money and fame and concentrate on the children
i have really grown to love the show. i am a mother of 2 and they ware me out i dont know how you do it with 8. deep in my heart i hope you both can make things work and grow old together. thank you for letting me into your home one night a week. if the show needs to be done to save your marriage / family then so be it. you need to do what is best for your family.

i love the show and im a big fan and i hope Kate can for give Jhon for what he has done if she dont i under stand its hard if some one u love deeply and have kids cheats on u its going to crush that person she needs to take time out and think things threw
I think kate is money hungery i am not saying that she does not love her kids but the way she downgrades jon on tv is not very nice. It seems to appear theat it is all about her. She gets everything for free there are other couples that have 6 to 8 babies and they do not have any help for then I think it is all drama to get more people to watch
I really think that they need to sit back and take a look at their life, and realize they both need to do some growing up. This isn’t a game and those poor kids will be affected by it.
