Jack is BACK!

The new season of 24 has begun!  This past week we’ve seen 4 hours of Jack.  Of course the season started with Jack not having anything to do with CTU – in fact his plan from the start of Season 8 was to go live in LA with Kim, Terry, and Stephen, but then his plans changed.

Jack is now “working” with CTU and using his skills he’s acquired overtime to save lives.  Shockingly halfway through day two of the season premiere Renee Walker makes her appearance and is involved in an undercover operation to stop terrorists from their ploys.

The following takes place between the hours 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Larry and his team is sweeping the area (Mayer’s House).  Ethan is informed by Agent Moss that Senator Mayer has been murdered by Jack Bauer.  Jack gives Tony the information about the weapons in the area.  The President calls her husband, Henry to let him know what is going on; including his daughter’s involvement.

Ethan walks into the President’s office and lets her know that Senator Mayer has been murdered by Jack Bauer.  She can’t believe what is happening.  Ethan also tells her that he will be resigning.  Ethan emphasizes how important it is for her campaign that he resigns and asks her to accept it.

Jack meets Tony at the Port of Alexandria. Jack with a machine gun & Tony with binoculars.  While there is a watchmen on duty he hears a noise that startles him.  It is Jack and Tony.

Jon Voight talks to someone about Quinn and if Quinn doesn’t show to go in a do something with the weapons.  Starkwood has a meeting led by Jon Voight about the terrorist attacks that occurred earlier in the day.  When Doug is informed about Mayer’s deather he accuses Jonas (Jon Voight) of having something to do with the murder. Jonas denies any connection.

Carl, the night watchmen at the Port of Alexandria tells Jack and Tony about how the deal is supposed to go down.  Carl opens the gate to the terrorists, while Jack and Tony follow closely behind.

Mr. Stokes, the bad guy, makes Carl get in the car with them to show them where to go.  Olivia goes into Ethan’s office an apologizes for the way that she has been acting.  Once Olivia says goodbye to Ethan, she leaks to the press that Jack murdered Mayer and Ethan resigned.

One of the terrorists, Cooper, takes Carl in the back and points a guy at him.  Just as the guy was going to shoot Carl Jack shoots the bad guy and Carl thanks him and runs away.

Mr. Stokes orders one of his men to look for Cooper, they find Cooper dead.  Shots begin firing.  Jack and Tony spilt up, Jack jumps onto a moving truck, Tony gets caught.  Mr. Stokes asks where Bauer is.

Jack calls Larry to tell him where to bring the cops and to hurry.  While Jack is driving the truck he notices that there is an alarm going off.  He jumps out of the truck to find that the biological material is leaking.  Jacks enters the back of the pick-up truck, holding his breath.  He shuts off the material from leaking, then people start shooting at him.  A helicopter takes the biological chemical by helicopter.

Jack lets Larry Moss know that he was exposed to the chemical.

Next week, Renee finds out Jack has been exposed.  Jon Voight questions Tony.  Jack’s blood work regarding his exposure will be released.

Chloe’s husband comes into the FBI building wanting to know where his wife is.  While this is happening Renee is getting released from being an FBI agent.  Larry Moss informs Janice that Ryan Burnett is dead and a release is sent out looking for Jack Bauer.  Jack calls Renee and tells her that he did not kill Ryan and that he has been framed.  She needs to I.D. a the actual killer.  Renee I.D’s the killer as John Quinn.

Larry Moss walks in on Agent Walker and tells her to go home and get some sleep.  He figures out that Renee talked to Bauer and tells Janice to figure out what Renee has been doing on her computer and who she has been talking to.

While Olivia and the President are talking Ethan walks in and informs her that Ryan Burnett was murdered…by Jack Bauer.  Larry Moss confronts Renee about the location of Jack Bauer, but she refuses.  Renee is willing to sacrifice everything to allow Jack to find John Quinn.  Larry puts Renee into holding for refusing to talk.

Senator Mayer walks into his house and notices that things have been moved.  Jack Bauer surprises him and questions him about John Quinn.  Senator Mayer says that he has no idea who John Quinn is.  Jack orders Senator Mayer for information regarding the company that John Quinn works for.

The President makes a speech about how the United States has won.  Olivia leaks to the press that Ethan authorized Bauer to talk to Ryan Burnett and that he caused his death.  Janice can’t crack the encryption with the address that Renee gave Bauer, so Larry Moss goes to speak with Morris O’brien.  Larry blackmails  Mr. O’brien by saying that Chloe will be released if he can crack a code for the FBI.  Larry tells Morris without his cooperation Chloe will go to jail.  Morris cracks the code of Senator Mayers address.

Larry gets a team of FBI agents and them ready for Mayer’s house.  Chloe is upset with her husband that he caved in and is helping the FBI find Jack.  While Senator Mayer and Jack are in his house Jack discovers the connection between Juma and Quinn.  Someone knocks on the Mayer’s door saying “Senator Mayor FBI” Senator Mayer convinces Jack that he can help with this and for him to trust.  Jack says “open the door.”  When Mayer opened the door it was John Quinn and he shoots and kills him.

Olivia is called into the President’s office regarding the leak to the press.  Olivia said that she has found the leak and gave Ethan the number to the person who can tell him the leak.  The President believes Olivia, and she apologizes for putting her on the spot.

Jack is on the run trying to get away from John Quinn.  John Quinn spots blood spots leading a trail to where he can find Jack.  John Quinn walks into an empty building and just starts shooting all while Jack flips the building over with a bulldozer.  Jack and John start to fight.  Jack stabs John Quinn and with his final breath he says that the weapons are already here.  Jack looks John Quinn’s phone and it says Port of Alexandria.

Larry is blaming Jack for the Mayer’s murder.  Jack calls Tony and tells him about the Port of Alexandria.  Tony tries to tell him something but Jack says he must hang up.

Next week on 24 (March 23, 2009)  Ethan puts in his resignation.  There is a bioweapon in the city.

The following takes place between the hours 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM

The Vice President is asked again if he would authorize action for the FBI to enter the building, but he refused.  Olivia and her mother have a moment together, apologies are exchanged.  Juma orders the President to read his statement about the crimes she has committed againsted his country.  She begs Juma to release the hostages, he grabs one of them and shoots them in the head. 

President Taylor makes her speech that was written by Juma on a live feed on a secure Internet line.  Agent Moss calls the Vice President to inform him that he thinks that Juma is there to humiliate the President and then create a public execution.  The Vice President refuses to authorize any attack force to enter the White House to save the President. 

Bill grabs a gun off one of the soldiers and makes an explosion in the lockdown room.  Agent Moss authorizes his men to enter the White House causing extreme chaos.  Jack shoots Juma and saves the Mayors life.  Jack sits next to Bill’s dead body and starts to tear up. 

[Commercial Break 8:11 PM]

President Taylor makes it clear that she demands to stay in the White House and that they will make that building safe.  She wants to know how his husband is doing.  She demands to speak with the Vice President. 

Renee walks over to Jack, and apologizes to him for his loss.  Jack confronts Larry Moss about how he thinks that the threat to the President is not over.  Jack asks Larry for permission to speak with Ryan Burnett, Larry orders the police to cuff Jack and bring him back to FBI.  Supposedly Juma was not working alone and someone from the outside was helping him leading to the fact that there is still a threat. 

Jon Voight is informed that the President has lived, but Juma is dead.

[Commercial Break 8:26 PM]

Ethan calls Larry Moss to tell him to allow Jack to interrogate Ryan Burnett.  Larry argues with Ethan and Ethans makes it clear that it is an order and no one else should know about this; especially the President.  The President gives Ethan the biggest hug when she first sees him.  The President wants to bring Olivia on as a special advisor and Ethan reminds her about what Olivia did during the Presidential campaign.  Olivia leaked personal information to the public about her opponent.  Ethan was ordered by the President to offer Olivia a job to assist as a Presidential administrator.

Larry suspends Renee from FBI indefinitely.  This is all because she went to Ethan behind Larry Moss’s back.

[Commercial Break 8:36 PM]

Jon Voight orders his man to program in areas in D.C. for attack purposes.  He is then informed that Jack is going to the hospital to question Ryan so before he gets there someone is to intercept the interogation and then take care of Jack.  The man who is supposed to kill Ryan Burnett suffocates an old man so the alarms to start to go off, this is to draw attention off of Burnett.  The terrorist then finds out where Burnett’s room is. 

The bad guy goes up into the ceiling so no one will see him walking to Burnett’s room.  While this is happening Olivia thanks Aaron Pierce for taking a bullet for her.  Ethan then asks Olivia for a moment to talk.  He tells her that they would like her to be Special Advisor to the President.  She then tells Ethan that he has failed by not knowing that her government was corrupt.   She says that it will be her mission to find out who did this to her. 

[Commercial Break 8:49 PM]

Jack goes into Ryan’s room and shuts the door behind him.  He tells Ryan to wake up.  Ryan gets so scared saying, “Oh my God…and that he wants to talk to his lawyer.”  While this is going on the terrorist is in the ceiling messing with the sound.  The terrorist drops something in the room that knocks Jack and Ryan out, this also makes the video still.  The terrorist kills Ryan by slicing his neck and making it look like Jack did it. 

Jon Voight gets a call from the terrorist who framed Jack to let him know that the job was completed.  Jack calls Larry to let him know that he was set up.

March 16,2009 – Larry must find Jack.  Jack calls Renee tells him that he did not commit the crime that they are setting him up for.  Chloe’s husband is then told that Chloe could go to jail if she does not help in finding Jack…

The following takes place between 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM:

Opening scene is Dubaku is in the hospital. The nurse looking after him gets a phone call and walks away. While a male nurse walks over to Dubaku and gives him a shot (needle) of some kind of medication that makes him convulse.

General Juma is in Washington D.C. staring at the White House asking one of his men if “he is ready?” In the meantime the male nurse calls General Juma to tell him Dubaku is dead. Time of death 6:06 PM; died from a “massive heart attack.” Larry Moss is informing his agents about what is going on while Jack calls Chloe for her to delete Ryan Burnett from the terrorist list so Jack can take care of him himself.

Tony drops Jack off at the White House. Ryan personally calls General Juma asking him if he could prolong the attack since he is in the White House. Ethan speaks with the Mayor about Jack Bauer’s performance over the past couple hours. Ethan tells him that the President may pardon him.

Jack walks in on Bill pointing a gun at him telling him that “we” are running out of time. Jack has to make Bill unconsious to make sure he is not blamed for anything that Jack has to “do” in order to get everything out of Ryan.

[Commercial Break 6:15 PM]

Renee informs Larry about Dubaku’s death, but Renee feels that Dubaku was murdered by an unidentified man. Larry tells Renee that he needs her back at the office, but a police officer tells her that the unidentified nurse was spotted getting in his vehicle. Janice figured out that a name was deleted off the terrorist list and questions Chloe about it.

The Mayor tells Burnett to make political news about pardoning Jack Bauer toxic. Burnett calls Juma and says that he will “meet him,” just before Jack walks in a tasers him!

[Commercial Break 6:24 PM]

Janice interupts Larry and tells her that Chloe has deleted a name of the list. Larry calls the White House. In the meantime the Mayor is talking with the President about Jack Bauer. An urgent call comes in from Larry Moss telling the President that Jack is interrogating Burnett. As Jack is interrogating and getting Burnett to speak they blow the door off where Jack is and put Jack in handcuffs.

Ethan raises the threat levels. The President wants to speak with Burnett alone.

[Commerical Break 6:38 PM]

The Presidents offers to erase Burnett’s crimes if he tells her what he knows. He refuses. Renee goes to the male “nurses” house by herself. There are dozens of African soldiers where she is. Renee realizes that General Juma is behind the attack. The soldiers file into a boat. Renee jumps on the boat, but her phone got wet and she does not have a signal.

[Commercial Break 6:50 PM]

Bill calls Tony to tell him that Jack is in custody and that Ryan did not ‘break’. Tony’s source who gave him the information about the attack is dead. Larry Moss keeps calling Renee’s cell phone but there is no answer. Renee climbs up on to the boat. She sneaks into the boat and looks at some of the plans that General Juma was instructing his soldiers to attack. She realizes it is the White House. One of the men spot her and start shooting at her, but she jumps into the water and starts swimming as fast as she can. All but one of the soldiers is under the water, the other is chasing after her.

The men under the water are drilling a whole up into the White House.

[Commercial Break 6:59 PM]

The following takes place between 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM:

Juma’s soldiers drilled a tunnel from the ocean into the basement of the White House. Olivia Taylor begs Aaron Pierce to let her leave the White House to visit her father at the hospital. Ethan knocks at the door to fill Olivia in on everything that has happened. Ethan tells her that he is heading to the Pentagon. Larry Moss calls the President to tell her that Juma is in D.C. and that he is a part of the attack. Renee is running for her life as an African soldier is after her. She runs into a policeman and tells him to call the FBI about an attack to the White House, as he is calling he is shot and she flees.

Jack tries to convince Bill that he needs to get to Ryan Burnett and question him (since Jack is in a holding cell), but Bill says that he can’t. One of the White House maintenance men is going to let Juma and his men inside the White House. Juma and his men enter the White House.

[7:10 PM]

One of Juma’s men accesses the secret service tracking grid and discovers that the President is in the oval office. The soldiers kill all the men that are securing the halls.

[Commercial Break 7:11 PM]

While Dubaku’s son is choking Renee. Larry shoots him. Larry informs Bill that the White House is under attack. Bill takes the President’s tracker to divert Juma and his men. They realize that Bill has the tracker. Juma pistol wips Bill and keeps him as a hostage. Juma knows that the FBI knows they are in the White House. Aaron is trying to get to the lockdown room. Aaron and Olivia are still in the room and did not make it to lockdown.

Jack and the President are in the lockdown. Juma gets onto the communication line and orders the FBI and White House security to fall back because he is tricking them into believing he has the President. But he really doesn’t have the President, Jack & the President are safe in lockdown.

[Commercial Break 7:27 PM]

Larry Moss and his team are outside the White House. Juma’s soldiers have lined up hostages outside the lockdown. Hostages include Bill and the Mayor. Jack discovers that they have the access code and will be able to open the door to the President. Jack disconnected the access panel so they could not open it. Juma announces that they will find another way into the lockdown.

A government official logs into the system and tells Juma that Olivia is somewhere in the White House and finding her will get the President to open the door. Aaron Pierce and Olivia are walking around the building trying to find a way out.

[Commercial Break 7:41 PM]

Larry Moss is trying to convince the Vice President that he believes that Juma does not have the President. The President does not agree with having the FBI going into the White House. Aaron Pierce gets shot and he gives Olivia directions to call for help. As Olivia is sending for help Juma’s men get her and Aaron.

[Commercial Break 7:50 PM]

Juma places a chair in front of the camera and places her daughter in it. He threatens to cut out each of her eyes and then he will cut out her tongue. The President orders Jack to open the door and HE DOES. Juma smacks the President across the face and tells his men to prepare the camera’s for the President’s last statement.

Renee and Jack’s story clears by the FBI and they are free’d. Erika is in a car with Dubaku on their way to his private jet. Dubaku spots Jack and Renee behind him and they start driving out of control. Erika blinds the driver and makes the car crash. Both Dubaku and Erika are both badly injured. When Renee realizes that Erika is dead.

[Commercial Break 5:12 pm]

Jack finds a chip underneath Dubaku’s skin that is an ‘insurance policy’ with all his government names. Hillinger’s plan is to crash every single server on the FBI floor. By doing this all the information will be deleted. Erica (blond haired -affair) is going to help him.

[Commercial Break 5:25 pm]

Renee and Jack are at the hospital with Dubaku. Renee is heartbroken that Erika has lost her life. Agent Moss has been given the chip with Dubaku’s list of government officials. Chloe puts it in the computer and realizes it has an automated erase, which means one chance to download. Chloe realizes that the hard drive is reformatting and the files are being erased. Moss and Chloe are going to the mainframe, Hillinger shoots Erica while they are making out. Erica dies. Hillinger shoots himself in the arm, Moss and Chloe come in. Hillinger makes it sound like Erica was the only one in on it and for now gets away clean.

Moss tells Hillinger that Chloe recovered the files. He runs and gets caught. Renee tells Rosa that her sister was killed. Renee confronts Jack about her guilt about Erika’s death.

[Commercial Break 5:47 pm]

Olivia talks with her mother regarding her father.  Olivua desperately wants to leave the white house to see her father at the hospital.

Arrests are to be made within the hour.  Bill informs the President about Jack’s testimony “tomorrow.”  And pleading for her to speak with the mayor so Jack will not spend the rest of his life in jail.

Tony meets Jack in front of the White House telling Jack that there will be another attack.  Tony asks for his help.

The following takes place between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM:

Jack Bauer calls President Taylor to inform her of the first gentleman’s (Henry Taylor) gunshoot wound to the chest. Madame President insists of going to the hospital to be with Henry while he fights for his life.

Dubaku surprises his girlfriend (Erika) at the diner deceiving her that he is “illegally” in the country and that she must come with him. She hesitates because of her sister…and caves in! He tells her to go home and pack her things and wait for his call.

Larry Moss phones Renee regarding her involvement at Vossler’s home, when Carol Vossler reported a woman holding her and her 11-month child hostage at gun point. While on the phone Jack interupted by discovering the possibility of Dubaku’s safe house.

[Commercial Break] – 4:16 PM

Chloe was brought into the FBI facility and put into a conference room that is in the center of the floor with many windows. Larry Moss questions Chloe’s connection in working with Jack while Janice stares at her through a window. To her surprise, Janice was informed that Chloe previously worked with CTU by another employee.

Rosa, Erika’s sister finds out that Dubaku is taking Erika away and she pushes that he is lying and is not trustworthy. Jack and Renee barge into Erika’s apartment.

[Commercial Break] – 4:30 PM

President Taylor walks into the hospital where she is met by his doctor. The doctor tells her, “His chances aren’t good, maam.” President Taylor kisses him and watches through a window while Henry undergoes surgery. President Taylor requests Bill Buchannan to get in contact with Olivia, her daughter whom she has not spoken with in a very long time.

Jack requests Erika to answer Dubaku’s phone when he calls. –And she does. A car is coming for her where she is to wait downstairs. Jack’s plan is for her to go downstairs and WAIT for the car while Jack and Renee track her cell phone.

In the meantime Janice is trying to hack into the computer by overriding files. It is making her appear to be the mole…but we’ll find out (tick tock tick tock tick tock)

[Commercial Break] 4:43 PM

Aaron Pierce (former CTU employee) was sent to pick up Olivia Taylor while she is the middle of a business meeting. She is informed that her father has been shot and not known to the public.

Janice threatens Hillinger of his affair to tell Larry Moss if he does not provide her access to files that she is not allowed to see. She will now be able to view what Chloe is working on.

At 4:48 PM Erika goes to wait for Dubaku’s private car. Chloe has her tracked and is updating Jack and Renee on her status. All while Janice is hacking into Chloe’s infomration.

[Commercial Break] 4:54 PM

Janice pulls out the tracking device, and Chloe realizes that someone was in the system (a security breach). Jack and Renee have been arrested because an FBI warrant has been made by HILLINGER! Hillinger realizes that his name could be uncovered down the line.

Dubaku is informed that his girlfriend knows about who he really is. The show ends with Dubaku saying, “I’ll take care of her.”

February 23rd 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Dubaku physically attacks Erika. Renee and Jack get out of being arrested. Hillinger attempts (starts) erasing Chloe’s restricted files. Renee gets emotionally questioning Jack if he feels the pain that she feels.

Check back for next week

Tony was taken under FBI custody, where Jack confronted and questioned him.  It was then when Jack became aware Tony was “acting” against terrorists rather than actually being a terrorist.  The President’s husband was under the assumption that his son had been murdered instead of the reported suicide.  He confronted his son’s fiance, originally she said he was not murdered, but then she called the President’s husband and stated that the son was MURDERED.
