The reality of Baseballs and SUMMER

Saturday, May 10 I took a trip down to Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania to see my first game of the season at Coca-Cola Park!  It was the Lehigh Valley IRONPIGS versus the Columbus CLIPPERS.  The game ended with an IRONPIG victory 2-1.  The night was amazing; weather was perfect, also an added bonus was NO BUGS.  As many of my readers can tell I have been on a lawn kick for the past couple months, since my lawn is in the works of looking half-way decent.  A side-note the field at Coca-Cola part was AMAZING!

I’m planning on having Connecticut landscaping come to my place and see what magic they can do for me, but I have to wait till my drive way gets paved and who knows how long that could take.  I moved my car last week and because of all the rain we’ve been getting no one has shown up, which is understandable - I mean I wouldn’t want to work in the cold rain either.

My friend who is attending the University of Connecticut is staying with a cousin and he called Monroe lawn care and Stamford lawn care to find out price ranges and services available.  Although this is a “reality tv” blog people must think I’m nuts for talking about lawn care, such as Fairfield lawn care, but in all REALITY lawn is where many spend their summer.  Whether they have kids, dogs, friends over, family over, etc.

I believe that the time and effort you take into making the outside of your home appear depicts what kind of person you are.  For instance, right now my lawn looks like I am a college student and don’t care about how many weeds are frantically popping up…lol which I will be taking care of hopefully soon!  I was looking for Connecticut lawn advice for a very long time until I found a lawn service in Connecticut who said they would be willing to do a walk through at my home - I’m very excited to see what will happen!

Britney Spear’s sister is having a GIRL

The other day I picked up one of those gossip magazines; I can’t recall which one it was exactly, but Briney Spear’s and her little sister were on the cover.  From the article I read she is having a girl!  She was wearing the cutest black and white sun dress in the picture.  It would have looked adorable with a pair of crocodile flip flops I saw the other day online.  I’ll be waiting anxiously for the magazine that first has Britney Spear’s sister and her new baby on the cover!!

Hooray! Wilton Lawn Care - 76 degrees and Sunny!

The birds are chirping and the sun is out here in Wilton, Connecticut.  It’s one of the nicest days that I’ve seen all season.  Connecticut Landscaping is sure to be busy in the next couple of months.  Everyone should get in their outdoor activities before the weekend is up - showers ALL Saturday and Sunday.  Since it’s going to rain I was supposed to do all the outdoor cleaning for my 90 year old grandmother - yuck!  I was thinking about getting out of all the chores and calling Wilton Lawn Care or Weston Lawn Care, but I figure it’s nice out and I’ll call next time.

Besides doing chores for my grandmother, on Monday at my younger sister’s track and field meet.  It was a beautiful day and just before that Southport Lawn Care was getting the field ready for the events.  Not to “toot my own horn,” but the pictures that I took look like they could be in a magazine.  The grass was the same shade of green not one piece of grass was out of place.

The Rock of Love Reunion

Bret Michaels is still with Ambre!  Yesterday (Sunday, April 20th) The Rock of Love 2 Reunion aired.  I got to watch bits and pieces of it…the Phillies were on tv so I found that to be a bit more interesting considering The Rock of Love 2 will be showing re-runs after re-runs.  While I was watching it I was surprised to hear that Destiny’s dad was sick.  I didn’t realize that he had cancer when her mom and dad were on the show.  I teared up when I heard that her dad died two weeks ago.

I couldn’t believe that the girl who’s names is slipping my mind but ends in Jo? …ohh it was Christy-Jo i think? was still with her husband.  The host was right when he said he was confused when he heard that she went on the show and then got back together with her husband…strange. I couldn’t believe the girl from last season started beating up on Daisy.  She was claiming that Daisy was trying to be like her and got pictures taken like her as if she were jealous.

Bret told everyone that he did sneak around before the show aired to see Ambre and Ambre actually went to a concert in Chicago to see what the rockstar life was like.  She giggled and said that it was interesting.

Landscaping is an interesting field…

I have a friend who is attending Penn State University to become a landscaper for golf courses.  Two semesters ago he did a presentation on his current job working as a part time landscaper for a Country Club.  Before I would never have considered lawn services the least bit interesting or a good career to get into, but after actively listening it seems like an reputable job.  Now, I’m not sure how accurate this is but he mentioned that New England is the better area to get a career in lawn services.  Areas including Connecticut landscaping and so forth…

My friend, Brad, was thinking about moving to Connecticut and working for Newtown Lawn Care hoping that they would hire him.  Although he has plenty of time to look around for jobs - he doesn’t graduate for another year.  During his presentation he showed us the most beautiful pictures of the country club where he works.  He was telling us how important it is to correctly water, mow, etc.  And the time it takes till you see the results that you want.

The country club that he works at is about 5 miles from my house and it is right along a highway.  Never before I had I really taken notice to how well kept the grass was until now.  I go to a Penn State Branch campus and when he introduced to the class that he was going up to University Park for landscaping I didn’t even think that there was a degree in landscaping?  Apparently it is actually popular and easy to find jobs because everywhere you look there is some place that needs their lawn kept presentable.

Brad told the class that one of his friends does Weston Lawn Care in Connecticut and is having the time of his life.  He meets new people and loves perfecting peoples lawns.  I guess if you love being outdoors, meeting new people, and the smell of grass getting into the landscaping field is the way to go.

Reality of a 21st

Everyone will admit that they have watched reality tv once or twice in their life. This weekend was my 21st birthday celebration at Atlantic City. All I can say is what a weekend. If you want to see reality go to AC!  I spent at least 3 hours in front of the same video poker machine - I can honestly see how people get addicted.  There were some unbelievable stories that I heard.  One man was down $7,000 and another couple was on their honeymoon and they were up $3,000.  I saw people waiting for “their” machines, elderly women playing multiple slots…

People are right when they say once you enter a casino it is a whole different world!

Lawn Care Connecticut is my Reality

School is almost over…the last snow has fallen…it is lighter longer…& nights are becoming warmer.  Last night I was taking my puppy for a walk - I never noticed all the different types of animals that come out when it gets warmer.  My puppy is 17 weeks old and gets scared of everything and eats whatever he can find, especially when he knows it’s bad.  On our walk we must have saw at least 5 deer along the side of the road.  Luke (my puppy) was barking up a storm and then would jump behind my leg and tremble - it was the cutest thing in the world.

Luke’s new “thing” is to eat leaves and grass… he’ll be on the lawn and then find a leaf or loose pieces of grass put it in his mouth and run - as if I didn’t see him.   I’ll tell you what a pug may seem chubby, wrinkly, and slow but I would contest that any day!  Luckily for me Fairfield lawn care is coming to my house because where I live there are gardeners that take care of mowing, weeding, and trimming and I was worried that they sprayed something on the grass because last summer I had a big problem with ants due to the weather being so hot and rainy.

One of my friends has a brand new Shitzu and he loves to take the puppy for walks but he is having the same problem — the puppy loves to eat the LAWN.  I have a feeling Connecticut landscaping is going to be extremely busy this season - not just because of pets, but the weather.  I heard that this summer suppose to be on the HOT side.  Whenever the weather changes so quickly insects and animals go crazy!….YUCK!

Need to smile? Get a kick out of this baby laughing!

The Girls visit Alaska

Holly took Bridget and Kendra to her hometown in Alaska. It was the first time in Holly and Hef’s relationship that they have spent that much time apart — 5 days or so. Kendra was uneasy about traveling to Alaska when she found out they would have to fly in a boat airplane ( a plane that lands on the water).

They ended having the best time visiting Holly’s hometown — eating at old restaurants, driving around, etc.

Scott Baio is NOT 45 and single…

Most of you know Scott Baio as Chachi from Happy Days — fell in love with Joanie. That may have been then, but now Scott Baio is no longer 45 and single. He is now together with Renee Sloan — his long time steady girlfriend. In addition to tying the knot with Renee he will be a father. Supposedly there will be another show branching off his first reality show “Scott Baio 45 and single” to “Scott Baio 46 and Pregnant.” I believe Vh1 has not confirmed on the title of the show yet.

The new show will air Renee’s pregnancy of their daughter and their marriage. I haven’t seen any commercials yet for the new show, but I would imagine commercials would be coming soon since it’s a new year??
