He picked Ambre?!

Sunday, April 13th Bret Michaels Rock of Love 2 finally ended and one girl walked away with her heart broken.  Bret went on two dates before he made his final decision.  He went on a romantic “get-a-way” with Ambre where they both received massages and then went to dinner.  At dinner Ambre told the entire world the lack of undergarments she was wearing.  At that point dinner was OVER.  Personally I felt at that point she was trying way too hard.

His second date was with Daisy.  Now, does anyone else think that Daisy was a little strange - other than her gigantic lips.  I couldn’t believe that he kept her around until the last elimination.   On their date they went on a boat where Daisy got extremely sea sick.  After the “not-so-romantic” day date they both got cleaned up and went to dinner.  And not surprising they ended up back in Bret Michaels hotel room where they….well he’s a rockstar everyone knows where things went from there.

The final elimination was down to Ambre and Daisy.  Before he made his decision he told them both his fears about each one.  He was worried Ambre wouldn’t fit the lifestyle of a rocker and Daisy still had a lot skeletons in her closet.  He called Daisy’s name first.  At this point both women were crying and I thought Ambre lost.  Bret whispered to Daisy and said, “your tour ends here.”  My jaw dropped and so did everyones.  He said that she needs him more than she wants him, which completely true.  Daisy is still living with her ex-boyfriend and is a stripper.  She also has been with rockstars before.  Although I’m still surprised Ambre was the better choice out of the two.

Ambre knows what she wants, she has a good job, and she is closer to his own age.  This weekend on Sunday it is the reunion.  I saw previews for it and it looks like there is going to be a fight between some of the girls.  And I noticed that Ambre and Bret were hugging.  I hope that Bret finds true love and even though I love the show I think a Rock of Love 3 would be carried away.

Lawn Care Connecticut is My Reality

When I was watching the Masters in HD yesterday I was amazed about how beautiful the greenery was.  This sounds funny, but it looked like a carpet – the way it was cut, trimmed, and kept up.  During the tournament one of the golfer’s was putting hit a leaf and it caused the ball to stray from the hall.  After the Masters I watched the New York Yankees play the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park and the grass was just as amazing in Massachusetts.  I’ve come to a conclusion that no one’s grass around me looks like that.  So I contacted many Connecticut landscaping companies, such as Monroe lawn care, Wilton lawn care, Westport lawn care, and finally Greenwich lawn care.  One of the problems that I have at my home is a large Ornamental Cherry that constantly drops leaves.  The leaves leave marks on my grass if they aren’t picked up.  Ridgefield lawn care gave me personal tips to take care of my problem.

Reality TV Need Lawn Care Services

I was watching John and Kate Plus Eight the other day and I am still in shock that they have EIGHT KIDS. The episode I saw was the day they spent at the dentist! I cannot even imagine having that many kids. Can you imagine how many toys you would have to pick up? Not only inside, but also outside. Leaving things like toys and debris on the grass and deprive your grass and kill it. Here is a list of some things from a Connecticut Landscaping provider whom I have had great success with in the past. Lawn care services are not just needed by people who are on TV, but I think it definitely helps since during the episode it showed the kids playing outside.

I was talking to one of my friends who lives in Stamford, Connecticut and she said she thought it would be nearly impossible to find Stamford Lawn Care near her, but she managed to find a professional services who provided Connecticut lawn advice. See my friend, Sarah is up at college in Connecticut and she is staying with her aunt. Listen to her crazy story she told me and I had to put up for the readers —

Monday, Sarah told her aunt that she wanted some friends to come over and watch the Bachelor. The Bachelor this season is gorgeous – Matthew Grant. Could he be any cuter? I don’t think it’s possible, but anyway. Her aunt Betty said it would be fine to have a few people over – just a few. Sarah invited four of her close friends to watch the Bachelor – and only the Bachelor. Sarah said they were watching the Bachelor and having a good time and the next thing she knew there was a car in her driveway. She went outside and there were three college guys from the University of Connecticut asking her when the party starts. She said her stomach was in her throat. Three good-looking guys asking her when the party starts – what’s a girl to do? By the time she had time to open her mouth more people started pulling up to her house. One car drove up onto her lawn and she started screaming and when they reversed it dug a huge hole and skid marks.

Her aunt came outside and told the kids that they had five minutes to get off her property or she would call the cops. Betty blamed the entire situation on Sarah and told her she needed to find any CT Lawn Care whether it is, Stamford Lawn Care, Monroe Lawn Care, or Ridgefield Lawn Care. Betty didn’t care where or how far Sarah would have to go to fix her mess. The next day Sarah felt as if she called every Connecticut Lawn Services in the state. She finally found reliable Connecticut Landscaping, here.

Sarah told me that two things happened that night. One she didn’t think that Shayne would stay on the Bachelor; she was hoping she would get kicked off. Two she had no idea she would be looking for CT Lawn Services. Sarah said she should have figured the Bachelor would cause this much drama. It’s hard to believe that drama and rumors can create something so dramatic like this.

Need to smile? Get a kick out of this baby laughing!

Reality on a hard Winter…try this

We are already four days into Spring!  As much as I love Winter and the snow falling, the reality is the damage snow has caused to the my landscape.  Sometimes I wonder how snow can be so clean and beautiful, but leave your lawn looking brown and damaged?  I was watching The Girls Next Door the other day and I took notice to Hef’s lawn and all the landscapers it takes to make it look picture perfect.  I manged to find a reliable landscaping company, Connecticut Lawn Services, to help me with my damaged lawn.  The reality of this amazing discovery was the fact that Weston Lawn Care and Fairfield Lawn Care can be handled by this company as well as bigger cities.  I will keep everyone updated on the progress of my lawn!

Miley Cyrus is NOT cool

Miley Cyrus was on Jay Leno the other night and is it just me or is she trying way too hard to be cool. Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, was on the Jay Leno show before Miley Cyrus. It felt like Miley wasn’t running the show when it was her turn. Her dad kept interrupting with his life stories. Personally, Miley Cyrus is going to be another “Britney Spears” or “Lindsay Lohan” in progress. I hope that isn’t the case, but I have seen pictures of her giving the unusual Peace sign like all the other Lohan look-a-likes.

What has the world come to? And I thought Reality TV was exciting, but I realize Celebrity gossip ranks up there too!

Reality TV at its Finest - The Moment of Truth

Filed under: Politics, The Moment of Truth — aey112 @ 12:19 pm

TONIGHT!!! March 5th The Moment of Truth is ON!!! 6 hours and viewers are guaranteed to watch a contestant become very uncomfortable within minutes. On my last post I discussed the similarities between Reality TV and the Election. I was thinking about how awesome it would be to see Hilary, Obama, and John McCain all in the “hot seat” on The Moment of Truth. I wonder who would win and go the furthest on telling the truth to the world?

I bet the ratings would be off the charts!!…LOL

Look tonight for the questions and answers right after the show ends!

Reality TV versus the Election

To my readers’ I have not been watching reality shows as frequently as I had a couple weeks ago. This could be due to all the media on the election. Lately, politics has been a huge REALITY TV SHOW! From the news on John McCain’s past love affair and Hilary/Bill’s life.

One of my college courses is spent strictly on Politics and is titled Leadership. At times it can be extremely controversial because the class is pretty much split evenly into Republicans vs. Democrats. This 300 level course requires a paper in which we must declare who we will vote for in November. We all wrote the paper and then the Instructor announced to the entire class who we all chose. I found this to be extremely inappropriate — not that it matters to me on who people or my friends’ are voting for, but some people look at you differently if they know you are voting for John McCain versus Hilary Clinton/Obama or vice versa.

Every Tuesday and Thursday I walk into class and the Instructor gives me the impression that he wants to see controversy among his students. At times people are arguing, rolling eyes, sighing, mumbling under their breath, etc. And when you try and stay out of conversation the Instructor wants to hear your opinion. It’s one thing to declare who you want to see as President of the United States, but having to listen to people bash who you believe will have the courage take office is another.

Yesterday was Hilary’s big Tuesday. She won Texas and Ohio. My personal opinion is if Hilary goes up against McCain she will lose, but if Obama goes up against McCain he will win. This election is so very overwhelming with an African American, women, and POW all running for the same position. Every Leadership class I go to the same person says the same comeback to defend Obama, he says, “at least there won’t be a war forever.” Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, the one thing I think is whether a democrat is in office and does take the troops out will not make everything all “better.” To me it sounds like we would give-up portraying that the U.S. is weak and can’t finish.

I’m proud of the troops and it saddens me that when I flip on the news it always shows something terrible (i.e. deaths). In reality that does happen, but there is a lot of good being done.

So…the election has been on my to-do list to watch the past couple of weeks, which apparently is similar to Reality TV.

Let me know what you think…I would love to know!
