Red team vs Blue team face off on a taste test.

The girls (red team) win a photoshoot that will feature them on TV Guide.  Since the Blue team lost their punishment will be to prepare the red team lunch as well as prepping both kitchens for dinner tonight.

The Blue team is getting very frustrated with Lacey while the Red team is enjoying the photoshoot.  At tonights dinner service their celebrities in the dining room.  Lacey was having a horrible time on the meat station.  She continues to complain about not being able to cook meat.  Chef Ramsay kicks her out of the kitchen.  She begs him and he lets her back in.

Robert’s pants rips, but plays it cool while the Red team his struggling.  Although there are many problems the red team’s celebrities are enjoying their food while the blue team’s celebrities are still waiting.  Chef Ramsay kicks her out yet again.  She gives up her white jacket and packs her suitcase.

2 hours in the dinner service barely any entrees have been delivered.  But things start to pickup.  The Blue team (with 3 members left) finished their dinner service before the 5 girls did.

The winning team tonight was the boys (blue) team.

Tonight at elimination the nominees are:

Max (the bar mitzvah boy) will be judging the food.

The blue team won the challenge.  The winners will be going to a spa to relax.  The losing team will be decorating the dining room for the Bar Mitzvah.  A party planner, Francisco comes in to help decorate…he is definitely gay.  While the blue team is enjoying their reward the red team is trying to put the wooden floor down for dancing, but they are getting frustrated very quickly by Carol.  Andrea and Carol definitely do not like eachother.

The boys are happy with Lacey’s performance.  The red team finally sets up the floor and it makes a basketball court.  The blue team gets back from their reward challenge and then hops in the hot tub.  It doesn’t last very long — they are back to the kitchen in no time.

The red team has to hold the chair that Max sits on while they bounce him around.  Then they get back to cooking.  No orders are allowed to go out until Max’s table is served first.  All of the red team’s burgers that were to be sent to Max’s table were cold.

Francisco dropped Max’s birthday cake and blames it on JP.  Some of the little kids go over to the cake that is on the floor and start eating at it.  Then Chef Ramsay gives a surprise to Max.  The Harlem Globetrotters perform.

Chef Ramsay announces his decision to choose the blue team as the winning team.  Chef Ramsay tells Andrea to go upstairs and think about two weak performers to put up for elimination.

Andrea had a very difficult time choosing two people to eliminate when she knows that she did not do very well herself.  She keeps stalling and Chef Ramsay is obviously getting irritated.

Andrea chooses Coy & LA.  Coy spoke up and said that Andrea was the weakest chef tonight and then other chefs spoke up and agreed.  But Coy went home.

After elimination Seth is confronted by Giovanni about how much he hates him.  After a long day in the kitchen Robert does his best impersonations of Chef Ramsay to lighten up the mood.

Today’s challenge will force the teams to work together.  Hell’s Kitchen will be opening for breakfast.  The customers will be 100 kids who happen to be cheerleaders and football players.  The boys will feed the football players and the girls will feed the cheerleaders.

Colleen encourages the cheerleaders to cheer instead of cooking her hashbrowns.  Robert got screamed at because of the plating but J was the one who  plated it.  Seth is slowing down the blue team by not having the scrambled eggs done when needed.  Both teams are at an even pace.

The girls team serves their 50 cheerleaders before the boys served their 50 football players.  Chef Ramsay is swamped by all the kids wanting his autograph.  Since the boys lost they must clean up EVERYTHING.  In addition to preping both sides of the kitchen for the boys and girls.

The girls won a trip to Beverly Hills for complete relaxation.  While the boys are regrouping Danny and Ben break out in a fight determining who is the best cook on the team.  Ben goes to cool off by throwing a chair off the porch. 

The boys are cleaning up the kitchen and the girls are getting rubbed down by the hotels personal “servants”. 

2 hours remain till doors open and are worried about having the kitchen ready in time.

The girls feel that since they relaxed all day they were ready to win.  The boys didn’t even finish the prep for the girls.

Giovanni makes the mistake for not having his water boiling or seasoned yet.  Seth delivered his first set of scallops and they were cooked incorrectly.  The girls realize that they do not have their tomato basil sauce.

After an hour into dinner service the customers are getting restless.  Danny made the tomato basil sauce for the girls and it was excellent.  A salad has come back to the blue team because there is a hunk of lettuce that looks absolutely disgusting.  LA is getting frustrated with Colleen constant question asking. 

Out in the dining the customers are getting upset with the wait.  One customer said that they would be drunk before the meal even comes out.  Seth is questioned about his rag that he wiped on his face and then on a pan.  With all the problems that are happening he yells at both teams leave. 

Neither of the teams have won and for the first time in Hell’s Kitchen history he has stopped dinner while the restaurant is full of customers.  Both teams must nominate two people for elimination.

Chef Ramsay’s decision is to eliminate Seth.

Next time on Hell’s Kitchen, Lacey is put on the men’s team.  Lacey continually tells the boys team that she feels she will be going home.  Andrea falls apart, Robert gets backed into a corner.

Andrea makes it clear that JI was a better cook than 50 % of the people here.  Chef’s go to bed at 3 AM and a woken up 3 hours later and brought to an undisclosed location.  They are all asked if anyone has a heart condition and are afraid of heights.  They are brought into where meat is butchered.

When they arrive back at the kitchen Chef Ramsay has prepared a challenge, identifying the cut of meat and where it is located on the cow. 

Ben correctly places all the labels on the cow and wins the challenge.  The women’s performance was “pathetic”.  The men will be traveling by private jet to wine tasting and a steak dinner.  While the women are punished by working in the kitchen.  Robert canceled his wedding to be on Hell’s Kitchen. 

The women have to carry the entire side of beef into the kitchen.  1,200 pounds of cow was very heavy for the women. The girls realize that they do not want to lose anymore challenges.

The girls sit down at a table expecting to eat complements of Chef Ramsay.  The food is all parts of a cow, kidney, tongue, etc and a barf bag.  Andrea kept throwing up and was struggling very badly by uncontrollably throwing up.

Hell’s Kitchen will be a steak house tonight.  The catch is that there will be two seatings.  One team will cook and one team will serve and then they will switch.  Andrea gives her team a pep-talk.  They girls are encouraged to do well. 

As the winners of the challenge the men chose to cook first. They dedicate the tonight to Robert because it is the day of his wedding. 

It takes the women 20 minutes for the girls to bring in their first order ticket to the window.  Charlie’s rag is on fire. 

Ben is trying to impress Chef Ramsay by having the desserts ready before the appetizers were ready.  Chef Ramsay tells Ben to go upstairs.  He runs back into the kitchen and gets back to work. 

Meat is brought back to the kitchen because meat is cold in the center.  Steaks repeatedly get brought back.  Giovanna is getting screamed at.  Lacey forgot the order and they only had one more filet left.  Seth is supposed to filet a steak but it is taking him a very long time.

Chef Ramsay throws the meat at Seth that he cut of the filet showing him that he wasted one of the most expensive meats.  With 15 minutes left for the boys they still have quite a bit to do in the time they have left.  Chef Ramsay tells Giovanni to switch everything off and clean up.  The boys turn is over.

The girls are up – the tables have turned. They will have two hours to complete everything.  Charlie asked Ben to go up to one of his tables to ask if he has taken their order.  With no food coming out of the kitchen the men are trying to entertain the customers as best as they can.  Salads are coming back to the kitchen because the shrimp’s are raw.

Charlie dumped bacon all over one of his tables and felt completely sorry for what had happened.  Many steaks are coming back to the window even though the steaks are properly prepared perfectly.  The boys are purposely trying to bring back as much food to sabatoge the girls.  The girls time is up and they do not complete their challenge.

Charlie & Lacey were the worst waiters voted by the customers.

The team that served the most entrees was the red team, therefore the winner.  The boys must nominate two members for elimination.

Charlie will be leaving Hell’s Kitchen.

Chef Ramsey presents them with garbage bags full of all the food that they wasted from the previous night.  The challenge is to find all scallops in a huge crate.  Colleen falls in the huge crate that smells terrible.  The challenge is cooking scallops.  He shows them exactly what to do.  He chooses Andrea to sit out because the boys team is down one member.

Men are treated to a trip to Catalina Island.   While the men are treated the women must learn everything they can to prepare for the Raw Bar.

Robert is called into Chef Ramsay’s office because he will not be able to go on the trip.  The helicopter will not be able to hold his weight.  So he will be traveling by ferry.

The women are enduring their punishment by being in the kitchen learing how to prepare scallops.  Please note that Lacey is in bed and not participating because she is upset about the experience.  Seth acknowledges that he knows that Chef Ramsay’s birthday is tomorrow and knows all about his entire life.  Very CREEPY. 

Lacey comes back to participate with the group.  When Robert arrived at Catalina Island Chef Ramsay informed him that he missed the trip and that they were all going back on the ferry with him.  JI slips on some liquid that was on the kitchen floor and may have badly injured her ankle.

Her injury may force her not to participate in tonight’s dinner service.  Hell’s Kitchen is about to open and the aspiring chefs are preparing themselves for the first ever Hell’s Kitchen Raw Bar. 

Paula & Robert will be operating the Raw Bar. 

Doors Open

Carol burns the garlic because of becoming completely flustered.  Ben teaches Charlie how to prepare a meal.  Robert waits on  tables and is doing a very good job at keeping the customers happy. 

Chef Ramsay orders Lacey to tutor Colleen on how to cook on the stove.  Charlie and Seth are confronted because they have left out the lobster in spaghetti & lobster.  Chef Ramsay is screaming at Colleen because she is “robbing” students of their money.  He yells at her so much that he says, “GET OUT” and for her to get in the Raw Bar.

Chef Ramsay turns to see what the Blue Team is doing.  Danny has prepared the lamb perfectly.  JI is struggling through service because of the pain from her ankle, but is doing a fabulous job.  Chef Ramsay get right in Giovanni’s face.

The blue & red team both have equal amount of tables to feed, it’s a very close race.

Whichever team finishes all their plate first will be the team that wins the challenge.  The Boys Team finishes first.  While the women learn of their defeat, JI ices her foot.  Chef Ramsay makes an announcement that JI has made a courageous effort and done well.

Women must nominate two people for elimination.

JI speaks up and volunteers to go home.  Chef Ramsay tells JI that she has done very well and is allowed to keep her coat, but in her condition it wouldn’t be right for her to stay.  Because of her leaving Lacey and Colleen were allowed to stay.

Immediately after being selected the chefs were split up into a men’s and women’s team. They were to prepare a meal for Chef Ramsay to taste in order to “get to know” the chefs.

Signiture Dishes were presented in this order:

1. Carol – He said it was delicious (the taste)
2. Wil – He said the dish had a very sloppy presentation. Also, asked Wil about the pin he was wearing. Wil answered that it was his pride pin and he was openly gay.
3. JI – He said it was cooked perfectly
4. Robert – Dish was clumsy
5. Lacey – He spit it out
6. Danny – The food was hideous overall

The winner would receive a quarter million dollars and chef at Borgata in Atlantic City. The teams need to come up with team names while they get acquainted with their dorms, which are AWESOME.

8 am 10 hours till doors open

Lacey makes it clear that she can not handle the experience.  She says, “She quits.”  She goes and eats a hot pocket, leaving her team.  Seth has never worked in a restaurant and constantly asks questions at his slow speed.

After a quick timeout Lacey decides to come back.

Girls: Team Saffrone & Boys: The Blues Brothers

Chef Ramsay tells the group that 16 people in one kitchen is two many and asks for two volunteers.  He chooses Giovanni & Carol to be waiters, he also asks Charlie to cut off his goatee for fear there would be hair in his customers meals.

The doors open just before a fight begins.  Chef Ramsay has high hopes for opening nights.  Chef Ramsay calls out the order to the red team (women’s team).  Giovanni finally get’s an order to blue team after 20 minutes of being opening.

Ben was called out, his spaghetti was not cooked.  The power went out as Colleen was getting yelled out. Luckily the stoves were still working.  The lights being out is causing extreme anxiety and panic.

Carol kept pouring more and more wine so the customers would not get upset because of the wait.  Chef Ramsay provided a personal apology to all customers.  Power is back on, Chef Ramsay wants to get all the bad news behind everyone.  The kitchen is back open.

Giovanni was completely flustered and forgot what people had ordered. Two hours into the dinner service the blue team is starting to make entrees.  Colleen is getting criticized left and right.  Seth (Forest) is hoping to get high hopes but he didn’t cook the lamb chops properly.

Wil gets called out because everyone was helping him at the garnish station. Customers started walking out because the entrees were not done.  Chef Ramsay calls all of them to a meeting to look out into the empty dining room.  It was sheer embarassment to look at the few people that were left to watch.

Chef Ramsay must now choose a winning team.  He decides that both teams did equally as bad so makes his decision on the service that Giovanni and Carol provided throughout the night.  88% of Carol’s customers rated Carol above average and 90%  of Giovanni’s customers rated Giovanni below average.

Winning Team are the women. The losing team, the men need to pick two individuals who are up for elimination.  Wil nominates himself.  Seth calls Giovanni out after Seth was called out.

The person leaving Hell’s Kitchen is Wil.  The entire team wanted Seth to leave but he will be staying around for at  least one more episode.

Next time, someone gets physically hurt, breaks a rule, and get’s kicked out of the kitchen.
